About Us

HK Consulting was formed in 1979 and  has extensive experience in providing accounting , tax, payroll and management consulting services from its offices in Lisbon and in the Algarve.

Its office in Lisbon is located in Saldanha one of  the main business districts of the city.

HK Consulting prides itself on providing a very personal service to its national and international clients in Portugal. Due to its organizational structure it has the flexibility to provide custom made solutions to its clients in a cost effective way which deliver real value added advantages to the client. Clients can be sure that their affairs will be supervised by the same partner irrespective of the type of service they require from the firm.

We are pleased that a significant amount of the new work obtained is by recommendations from existing clients and are proud that our clients tend to stay with us.

All of its partners and key personnel are fluent in English and Portuguese. We also have staff who are fluent in Spanish, French and German.

All of the accounting staff are qualified members of the Portuguese Institute of Accounting Technicians (OCC).

HK Consulting is well established in the international business community and can guarantee a significant knowledge of local laws and customs which is important for clients who are considering undertaking a new venture or expanding their businesses in Portugal. It has a particular expertise in advising international clients who are looking to live or invest in Portugal. It has been a member of the British Portuguese Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years.

It currently has 1 partner and 8 members of staff in its two offices. It also has access to a wide range of consultants who can assist with a client's particular issues.
